This is a not-so-review of the indies I got during the Summer Komikon. It's just a bullet review, so don't expect much... ^_^;
(Might contain spoilers)
Alabmemei/ Haraya -- My Path
I'm not sure If I should call this a light novel or a story book. Either way it's a very nice story. It was well written, and it's bitter-sweet. You'll go "Awww..." after.
Ninja Girl KO!
I've read the Mangaholix issues. The indie issue dropped me somewhere near the published issues, but the indie story came out of nowhere (or very far from the published chapters). Anyway, as usual, Kriss was very consistent with his art. Even if the chapter is far from the first ones, I still enjoyed reading it.
As for asking whether to continue with the previous storyline or not, please do continue with the Kamao/myterious organization plot. Just give a short wrap up for new readers, since the first chapters already hooked us with it. ^.^
Florencio Jusay Jr. -- Johnny Astig/Ang Bagong Kidlat
I enjoyed the script of both stories. However, the font size made the pages text heavy. Maybe a size smaller next time, so there would be space for more art...?
Pelikomiks -- Zombinoy #1
I did enjoy reading it. I see who's gonna turn next, since they gave ample visual cues. I kinda like the idea that the lead characters are already a couple, and that there's trouble in paradise, and that they didn't start with a shotgun in hand. Next ssue?
Carlo Valenzuela -- Stickboy
I liked the idea of a really thin superhero who's very hard to target. ^_^ The story's nice.
Sulsi #1
I was quite impressed with this one. I loved how the comic started. The storytelling was pretty good, and I really like the character designs. Looking forward to the other titles... ^.^
Jaiden Kaiba -- Game Start!
I had fun reading it. It's quite funny. The art's pretty good too!
^_^
Stripper Syndicate/Wilmar Logatoc -- Makinarya (Prologue)
The beginning was okay. I think some of the dialgues should be split into 2 separate word baloons, kasi masyadong loaded minsan, tsaka masikip siya tignan. I like it na maraming eyerest dun sa panels.
Stripper Syndicate/Richard Arguilla -- Time Jump
My only critique for this one is that the space in between consecutive panels was too wide. I got a little confused about how to read the story, until I realized I was supposed to read it left to right, instead of top to bottom (then left to right). The space forced me to read it the wrong way. Closer next time maybe? But it was a cute comic. ^_^
Stripper Syndicate/Frost Mempin -- What the Heck! Comics
Mixed reactions with this one. It's not for everybody and You're gonna have to read it with an open mind. I still enjoyed it. Nice art BTW.
Stripper Syndicate/Aeron tepace -- T-Phase Comics
I'm not sure what the title of the comic is... ^_^; It's almost the same flavor as What The Heck! Comics. I like the improvised drum set.
Stripper Syndicate -- Raaawr Comics
Maiikli lang pero oks din.
Stripper Syndicate/Emman Centeno -- State of Mind
Random thoughts in comic form. oo nga saan nga ba pumupunta si Aquaman kapag...
***
Okay that's it for now. Sorry if it took too long. I'm a little under the weather lately. I'll try to get on with the other titles soon. More to come. ^_^
BTW, the artworks from the Comics Arthology exhibit are still up for sale. PM me if you're interested.

Indie Thang...I should put a number here...
This is a not-so-review/bullet reviews of the indies we acquired from the past two Kons. May contain spoilers.
~Ugly-Ink (https://www.deviantart.com/ugly-ink) Shinkei Hanketsu #1-2
I like the printing quality of this title...it's really sharp.
Shinkei Hanketsu has a really interesting premise. You have a gangster type of guy who will pay for his past sins via an
interesting punishment. It has a lot of potential.
As for the pace, it's a little too fast for me. It was so fast, that the part where Yakusubi took over the old man's body didn't quite work for me. I know he will be empathic during the "possession phase", BUT I think he needed to know the old man a little
Just dropped by...
Hi guys! I know I haven't been uploading stuff here...sorry about that... ^_^;
BUT that doesn't mean Cresci Prophecies is on hold! I recently finished the inks for chapter 26 (2nd chapter) of Vol. 4., and I'm currently working on the letters.
I'm also planning to make another round of Indie Thang soon.
Now having said that, I won't be able to attend the November Komikon, and I won't be able to make copies of Vol. 1... :(
I'll be having a 2-3 month hiatus from comic production, because...I'm preparing to be a Mom (ultra nervous right now)... ^_^;
I know the baby and comic production sked is gonna drive me nuts, but I'll try my best to r
Indie Thang: Mixed stash (last batch)
This is a not so review/bullet reviews of the indies I got over the last few cons. This is the last batch I got from SummerKon.
May contain spoilers...
~TyrfryT (https://www.deviantart.com/tyrfryt) Ink Jinks -- Horror Asylum #1-2
Pacing is good. Naaalala ko yung mga wakasan komiks. I like the gritty art. However, the stories in issues 1-2 feels the same. Different situation, but almost the same story. Probably because of GIRLS, and the setting. I even wondered if they were connected...but H.A. is probably composed of stand alone stories. I could be wrong... But generally I liked it. :)

Indie Thang: Mixed stash (part 9)
This is a not-so-review/bullet reviews of the indies I got during the past Kon. This batch came from Summer Komikon 2012.
May contain spoilers…
Studio 4 Eyes ~suoh12 (https://www.deviantart.com/suoh12):iconpandaandpotato: -- I Han it for Love #1-2
Pacing and story is pretty good. Lots of funny moments too!
When I read the first issue, I never expected the story to turn a different way in the 2nd issue. The first chapter hooked me, but the 2nd one intrigued me a lot. Looking forward to the 3rd installment! :3
Studio 4 Eyes/Gervi – Team Gemini #1
The script and pacing is okay… I just had a bit of trouble following what was happening in the action scenes.
