Of course we were there pretty early, but man, we had 2 strollers with us....with bags filled with our comic titles... I'm so thankful we had two strollers!! @_@
The month before Komikon was extremely stressful, and we had to sacrifice a few features in Kanto Inc, since we simply didn't have enough time (we were doing 3 new issues after all). BUT, of course, there's a bonus omake story at the back, which Kanto Inc. readers shouldn't miss!
I also thought CFH won't make it, but good thing I finished it in time~! XD

At the table I was with
Then there's
Our artist for Kanto Inc.,
Close to us was
We apologize for forgetting to bring KI issue 2....We we didn't notice we didn't pack it with the others...=_+
There were a LOT of people! I couldn't gauge it against last summer's Komikon, since most of crowd seemed to stay in the hall most of the time. The crowd reminded me a bit of Divisoria on a regular day... @_@;
I was only able to make short trips to specific indie booths, the PZ booth was so busy, I had no time to go around...
Of course we saw a lot of indie artists all over, specially the Indie Komiks Manila community!
Core Studios also released BOINK! Comics Digest, and I got the chance to contribute for this publication! Do check out the book when it gets released in comicbook shops! It's also a perfect Christmas gift!
Thanks for everyone who passed by the PZ booth, and buying books from us, specially for buying PASIG2, CFH, Kanto Inc. and CP! XD
It was also a pleasant surprise that some people still remember CFH #1. Curtains for Hire was released around 2005-06, and I thought nobody would remember it. But I met a few people who did, and yeah I was glad you still remembered getting the 2nd ish.
It was also a pleasant surprise for me that a reader of CP who still bought the singles back then, bought vol. 2-3 after missing a lot of Komikons past, and still want to follow the title. Readers like you always make my day!
We got good feedbacks for Kanto Inc., so this time we put an e-mail addy at the end of the 3rd ish to get proper feedbacks, and please do tell us what you think!
Hopefully, you guys also like Curtains for Hire, and one of the reasons I released it this time is Well, it will have a crossover with Kanto Inc. sometime in the future!
So, on behalf of my fellow
Maraming Salamat sa
Seeing that crowd, who says Komiks is gone? Who ever says otherwise is living under a rock
So THANK YOU again for supporting us! We kind of realized PZ is 16 years old. Haha!
Kudos to everybody who made and sold their indies at the event! I'm sure you had great fun! Being an indie artist here won't be complete if you haven't tried going to Komikon!
Now, I'm gonna read my indie stash, and expect the next journal to be filled with bullet reviews of this event's loot.
