Here's a not-so-review of the indies I bought in the last 3 cons. Sorry if I took so long, I got pretty busy… (This batch, I got during Indieket)
Anyway, contains major spoilers....
Komikult – The Hotdog Prince #1
It's about a Hotdog Prince, who in this issue, insists he's not anything else but a (gangster-like) Hotdog with strange powers. No solid story yet. I think the purpose of the first issue is really an introduction to the main Hotdog, since the other characters have no proper introduction. I have to admit I got a little confused, but the next issue might have more plot, so I'll tackle more of this title when I get to read the next issue…
AKA Productions – Si Adana, ang Taga-bukid na pintasera
This is actually a nice story book for kids. My nitpick for this title is that, the text was a little too big, and the font is a little difficult to read…or it could be because the text was placed over the artwork (which made it confusing). My suggestion is to leave a blank space for the text next time. But overall, it's a nice read.
Carlo Valenzuela – Pinoy Totoy Pi-Totoy #1
The comic is filled with lots of puns (I mean title pa lang), which made it fun to read. However, the pace is too fast for its own good leaving very little space to develop Toto's character. It has a lot of icky but funny moments, and I like the witty dialogues.
AKA Productions – Reaching your Heart #1
It's about a girl who lives alone, and who in this issue, discovers that she's engaged. After I read the title, it reminded me a little about a…*cough* hentai* plot (roles reversed of course). The father seems to trust the guy a lot, or else he wouldn't send the the guy to her with house keys. The first issue builds around the mystery of why she didn't recognize him….which also made me curious…And so I might pick up the next issue next time…It's cute btw.
MASOKISSTA METAPMOPHOSIS (#1 ?)
This comic is not for everybody. The panels are interesting, accompanied with comical narrations, since the visuals were really weird. I'm not sure what the series is really about, except that it's about change. I was reading it like I was watching an animated short…since it would look interesting on film…
Section Six Comics – SLASH #1
SLASH is a type of (aura) shield that protects people from harm. The protagonist, Alizeti, has an unusually strong SLASH, which protected her from harm when her family was attacked.
The story is like an introduction to a game-like story, where the characters have life stats on them. Some of the shots were pretty cool. I think the pace was too fast for me to build any connection with Alizeti's family (and her wanting revenge). Also, I got confused with some of the panel's orientation (should I look at it left to right, or right to left?), and there was too much info for me to take in one sitting… @_@;. Hopefully there would be more character buildup next time, and slower pacing, just to get the feel of the world of SLASH and it's characters.
IKOS Comics – KARIT: Ang Muling Paggising
It's one of those comics that make you comfortable reading the first few pages, and then slaps you with something unexpected. I gotta hand it to Ronzkie for illustrating that part perfectly…Also that disturbing last panel…
Paraluman: Ala-ala ni Maria Clara #2
The story is interesting. My only nitpick with this issue is the part when Emsi and her friend were talking in a diner. I couldn't tell which were thought bubbles and which lines were actually spoken….or who was actually talking. Other than that, the story is still engaging.
RH Quilantang and Odree -- Hipon Gamay #1
The comic was well executed. The chapter relied heavily on Odree's visual storytelling skills, and she did well to support RH's idea/script. I'm not gonna say anything about the story, since you'll have to check it out to see what I meant when I wrote the first sentence. All I could say is Hipon deserved the slap on his face…and maybe a kick…
-- Mark 9 verse 47 #8
I loved the flying pages. I like the visuals in this issue. Aliw pa rin yung script. Bitin.
Okay that's the first batch…I still have to read the others…
Give me a little time to sit and read…and work on CP vol 4 this time…
BTW, thanks for dropping by the booth last Komikon... and for those who bought CFH and CP...I really hope they enjoy it... :3
Feedbacks are welcome!

Indie Thang...I should put a number here...
This is a not-so-review/bullet reviews of the indies we acquired from the past two Kons. May contain spoilers.
~Ugly-Ink (https://www.deviantart.com/ugly-ink) Shinkei Hanketsu #1-2
I like the printing quality of this title...it's really sharp.
Shinkei Hanketsu has a really interesting premise. You have a gangster type of guy who will pay for his past sins via an
interesting punishment. It has a lot of potential.
As for the pace, it's a little too fast for me. It was so fast, that the part where Yakusubi took over the old man's body didn't quite work for me. I know he will be empathic during the "possession phase", BUT I think he needed to know the old man a little
Just dropped by...
Hi guys! I know I haven't been uploading stuff here...sorry about that... ^_^;
BUT that doesn't mean Cresci Prophecies is on hold! I recently finished the inks for chapter 26 (2nd chapter) of Vol. 4., and I'm currently working on the letters.
I'm also planning to make another round of Indie Thang soon.
Now having said that, I won't be able to attend the November Komikon, and I won't be able to make copies of Vol. 1... :(
I'll be having a 2-3 month hiatus from comic production, because...I'm preparing to be a Mom (ultra nervous right now)... ^_^;
I know the baby and comic production sked is gonna drive me nuts, but I'll try my best to r
Indie Thang: Mixed stash (last batch)
This is a not so review/bullet reviews of the indies I got over the last few cons. This is the last batch I got from SummerKon.
May contain spoilers...
~TyrfryT (https://www.deviantart.com/tyrfryt) Ink Jinks -- Horror Asylum #1-2
Pacing is good. Naaalala ko yung mga wakasan komiks. I like the gritty art. However, the stories in issues 1-2 feels the same. Different situation, but almost the same story. Probably because of GIRLS, and the setting. I even wondered if they were connected...but H.A. is probably composed of stand alone stories. I could be wrong... But generally I liked it. :)

Indie Thang: Mixed stash (part 9)
This is a not-so-review/bullet reviews of the indies I got during the past Kon. This batch came from Summer Komikon 2012.

Studio 4 Eyes ~suoh12 (https://www.deviantart.com/suoh12):iconpandaandpotato: -- I Han it for Love #1-2
Pacing and story is pretty good. Lots of funny moments too!
When I read the first issue, I never expected the story to turn a different way in the 2nd issue. The first chapter hooked me, but the 2nd one intrigued me a lot. Looking forward to the 3rd installment! :3
Studio 4 Eyes/Gervi – Team Gemini #1
The script and pacing is okay… I just had a bit of trouble following what was happening in the action scenes.
